The opus sign on the outside of the studio at Bridge Court

Shannon & Tyler · Est. Bridge Court

The studio we wanted to walk into.

Opus started as an idea Shannon and Tyler had, with two boys, two careers and one very clear picture of the place they wished existed.

“Opus started as an idea Tyler and I had to create the kind of place I personally wanted to go to: somewhere beautiful and welcoming, where you could prioritise yourself for an hour without feeling intimidated or out of place.”

S

Co-founder

Shannon

Mum of two, business owner, and someone who is always dreaming up the next idea.

My background is actually in law and I graduated with a First-Class Law degree, but I've always had a creative and entrepreneurial side that eventually led me down a completely different path. I love all things fitness, wellness, interiors, branding and bringing people together.

Becoming a mum has shaped so much of who I am, and trying to balance motherhood with running a business is chaotic at times, but I genuinely wouldn't have it any other way.

If I'm not at the studio, you'll usually find me with the boys, in the gym, planning our next holiday, or coming up with yet another idea that I'll inevitably convince Tyler we need to do.

T

Co-founder, INTENSE

Tyler

Dad of two, former professional footballer, business owner and the slightly more practical half of Opus.

Football was a huge part of my life growing up and I went on to play professionally, which gave me an early appreciation for training, discipline, recovery and what the body is capable of.

I naturally gravitate towards the training and performance side of the business, particularly INTENSE. My sporting background has had a big influence on how we've developed it, and I love showing people that this style of training can benefit everyone, not just athletes.

When Shannon comes to me with one of her ideas, I'm usually the person figuring out how we're actually going to make it happen.

Kyrie, Kruz and a studio

Family first. Then everything else.

“Outside of work, family is everything to me. Shannon and I have our two boys, Kyrie and Kruz, and when I'm not working you'll usually find me spending time with them, training or watching football.”

Tyler

“Building a business with Shannon definitely keeps life interesting, but seeing something we created together become what Opus is today makes all the hard work worth it.”

The community

Most people find us through a friend.

“Watching that idea turn into the community we have today is something I'm incredibly proud of.” Shannon

Interiors, branding, and a little ceremony.

Shannon loves interiors and branding, and it shows: backlit arches, oak reformers, the opus mark on every mat, wellness shots on a tray and a warm towel when you're done. Tyler worked out how to build it.
