Opus Pilates Studio

Privacy policy.

Last updated: 15 October 2026

At Opus Pilates Studio Ltd, your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information, online and in the studio.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact details such as your name, email address and phone number, for example when you enquire, create your My Opus account, book a class or sign up for a programme.
  • Health or fitness information you choose to share, such as injuries, pregnancy or postnatal recovery, through the health questionnaire before your first class or by telling us, so we can tailor your sessions safely. This is only seen by the Opus team.
  • An emergency contact's name and phone number.
  • Your bookings, attendance, passes and memberships, so we can run your classes and your account.
  • Payment details, processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Data from Meta Ads: when you submit details through our Facebook or Instagram lead ads, we receive the information you provide (for example name, email and phone) to follow up on your enquiry.
  • Website data such as cookies, your IP address and analytics, to keep the site secure and improve it.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to enquiries and provide the services you have asked for.
  • To run your bookings, memberships and payments, and send the emails that go with them: booking confirmations, reminders, waitlist updates and receipts.
  • To tailor programmes and sessions to your individual needs.
  • To send updates or offers about Opus Pilates, only if you have said yes. You can opt out at any time.
  • To improve our website, adverts and services.
  • To meet legal or regulatory obligations.

3. Sharing your information

We will never sell or rent your data. We share only what is needed with the service providers who help us run the studio:

  • Stripe, who process card payments and monthly memberships.
  • Vercel and Neon, who host our website and booking system, with data held in London.
  • Resend, who send our booking and account emails.
  • Bee Viral Ltd, who build and look after our website and booking system.
  • The authorities, if the law requires it or to protect legal rights.

4. Data storage and security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your data safe. Your My Opus account is protected by your password, and only the Opus team can sign in to the studio system. Sensitive payment information is handled by Stripe.

We keep your information for as long as you are a member, and afterwards only for as long as we need it for the reasons above or the law requires.

5. Cookies and tracking

Our site uses cookies to keep you signed in to My Opus and to keep it secure, and may use similar technologies to analyse traffic. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, but you will then not be able to sign in.

With your permission only, we also use the Meta pixel, a cookie from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), so we can see which of our ads bring people to Opus and show our ads to people likely to be interested. We ask before it is switched on, and you can change your choice below at any time.

When you buy online, we also tell Meta that a purchase was made (what it was and the price), with your email and phone number in a scrambled (hashed) form, so Meta can match the sale to the ad that led to it. Meta does not receive your name, your health information or your card details.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete your data. You can also update your own details in My Opus at any time.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
  • Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.

7. Meta Ads and lead forms

When you submit your details through a Facebook or Instagram ad, you are providing information directly to Opus Pilates Studio. It is used only to respond to your enquiry, book consultations or classes, and send relevant follow-ups. We do not share these details with unrelated third parties.

8. Third-party links

Our communications or website may include links to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

9. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The latest version is always on this page.
